In the field of shooting, 22-year-old Zhang Xiangjie is writing a growth legend of a new generation of shooters with the dual identities of professional athlete and club founder. This shooting journey, which originated from family inheritance, has gradually shown a value dimension beyond personal honor due to the integration of in-depth thinking about the industry.

Zhang Xiangjie's father, Zhang Gang, is a senior practitioner who has been deeply engaged in the shooting field for 20 years. He once competed in three international events as an athlete, later served as a coach of the provincial shooting team and led the formulation of 3 local industry standards, and now holds the position of technical advisor to the provincial shooting association. In 2016, 13-year-old Zhang Xiangjie walked into his father's training base for the first time and witnessed his focused expression when calibrating the holding angle for team members: "The metallic reflection of the barrel under natural light made me feel the precision and solemnity of this sport for the first time."

Unlike traditional rigorous training methods, Zhang Gang adopted an enlightenment approach of "principles first": by explaining how breathing frequency affects ballistics, observing the relationship between wind speed and shooting trajectory, and other life-oriented teachings, he helped his son develop an interest through understanding. "Shooting is a dialogue between humans and equipment; you need to first understand its 'language'," his father's instruction laid a technical foundation for Zhang Xiangjie that emphasizes attention to detail.

In 2022, Zhang Xiangjie demonstrated dominance in the airgun events of IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) and IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association). With his precise judgment of dynamic targets and rapid firing techniques, he claimed championships in both disciplines, earning the reputation as a "representative of the new generation in tactical shooting" within the industry.

Beyond the competition arena, Zhang Xiangjie founded Changong Competitive Shooting Club in 2023. Leveraging his own tournament experience, he assembled a top-tier teaching team consisting of IPSC/IDPA internationally certified instructors. The club, with the core philosophy of "absolute safety, learning, cohesion, and joy", offers domestic AIRSOFT simulated shooting courses and overseas IDPA/IPSC live-fire training camps. It has pioneered a "step-by-step tactical training system", transforming competitive techniques into engaging courses suitable for the general public, attracting over 300 students of various age groups so far. Since its establishment, Zhang Xiangjie has continuously optimized the operation model, regularly organizing simulated combat competitions for members and improving the training system based on feedback from these events. Meanwhile, he actively communicates and cooperates with international shooting organizations, introducing advanced training concepts to China and continuously enhancing the club's professionalism and influence. To improve the teaching quality of the club, Zhang Xiangjie also actively explores digital training models. He formulates personalized training plans for each student, providing localized and Chinese-adapted directions for abstract shooting techniques.

In the same year, Zhang Xiangjie achieved a significant advancement in his professional identity: not only did he lead his team to win the team championship at the Mianyang Tactical Shooting Open, but he also became an IPSC international referee and the only IDPA authorized instructor in Zhejiang Province. "The older generation, like my father, spent 20 years laying a solid technical foundation; our generation needs to let more people safely experience the charm of shooting sports," he said. He integrated tactical thinking from international competitions into his teaching, and the developed "dynamic target decision-making training" course has become a star program of the club.

As the technical chief consultant, Zhang Gang deeply agrees with his son's transformation: "Professional shooting should not be confined to medals; it is more important to build a complete ecosystem from interest cultivation to professional improvement." For his part, Zhang Xiangjie says that his father's 20 handwritten training notebooks and the electronic aiming analysis system he uses are essentially both pursuits of "precision": "Traditional experience is the cornerstone, and technological empowerment is the wings. Together, they promote the popularization of shooting sports."

From a 13-year-old observer to a 22-year-old industry promoter, Zhang Xiangjie's path is not only a personal growth story but also reflects the transformation of China's shooting sports from "elite competition" to "diversified development."
